An exciting thing happened today and I missed it! I made the front page for the first time, and I wasn’t around to see it. Luckily, my lovely friend Jen, of WingedEgg, captured it for me.

To celebrate, I listed two of my very favorites. I’m really so happy with these two new pieces, the earrings I made a couple weeks ago and have been waiting for something pretty enough to list alongside it. I think this necklace measures up quite nicely.

Yay, a quick blog post and my work for the weekend is done, and I can start to have some fun! So for my listings of the day, I chose fun ones. I’m looking forward to a little downtime, been so busy the past couple weeks, feels like I’m never standing still anymore.

Hope everyone else is having fun, I’m off to do the same.  Next week should be a really good one, lots of new designs and etsy seller features coming.  And we’ll be moving full speed ahead on getting this site set up for shopping.  Still more excited with every step towards that one!

Happy Friday everyone. I had a nice one, another family day. It’s been so fun this summer getting to see the nieces and nephews so often, they’re so young, they just change and grow so fast! The rest of the day was catching up on work. I started going through and changing up my featured items everyday a couple weeks ago, as a way to keep things fresh on my website, and today’s choices were made by the boy. You can tell his favorite color is green, I think he chose well.

My filigree obsession continues to grow and now I’ve combined it with my cameo addiction to create this new pair of earrings I listed today. I made them last night and really thought they were cute. The locket’s really pretty too though. It’s a pretty day. I suspect tomorrow will be a pretty day too…unless it rains. Unless of course there’s a rainbow.

I can’t believe it, I have almost 40 unlisted necklaces now. Most of them were made in the last 3 days. I’ve just gone crazy with the filigree, it’s so neat when you first learn a new skill and you can see such marked improvements every time. I’m really proud of my most recent work. This one was the last I made last night and it’s fastened securely around my own neck already. I couldn’t help myself, I’ve just got so many to spare right now, it’s awful hard to resist.

The key necklace is one of the ones I made last night as well. Expect more keys and lots more filigree in the next week or two, I can’t wait to show off all I’ve been up to. And of course, more lockets, cameos, charm bracelets, and everything else you’ve come to expect from me.

Tonight on our way home from dinner it was sunny and raining and when I got home, I was lucky enough to catch a rainbow.   I always love a rainbow and this one was doubled.

Wow! It happened again, I’ve been making stuff since practically when I woke up, and completely lost track of time. I’d been waiting on more filigree to come in and it arrived today. I also made the first ever cameo I couldn’t part with last night. So pretty, I’m going to make more like it. No pictures of it yet, but I wanted to show my fun new bracelet I made when I was playing around with some pretty mixed beads the other night.

I was halfway through finishing another new necklace when I realized the time, so I’ll get back to that and hopefully tomorrow have more time to plan before writing. I really really love the aluminum rose on the necklace I listed today, expect to see more of those.
