Happy Sugar High
The epic battle that always came the day after Halloween: how much candy would I get to keep and how much would go over the fridge, never to be seen again(that’s certainly what it felt like!). But I LOVED trick-or-treating. An actual “real” reason to get to play dress-up and then leave the house like that! Few things could top that in my book. And I always ate as much as I could shove in my mouth Halloween night anyways, knowing what would come(sorry, Mom…).

Here’s me and my cousins and little brother circa 1987 on the steps of my grandparents house. I’m the witchy one holding the clown baby. I can remember this was one of my favorite years. This was the year that my mom was the tooth fairy(now you see why I never got to keep the candy).

Sooo sweet…what a fun photo! And all that sounds very familiar! ;o) Ah, Halloween as a youth, eh… Now I hardly every eat candy. I maybe buy a Snickers bar but once or twice a year–LOL! Happy Week, Samantha :o) ((HUGS))
Awww.. cute photo.
I sometimes wish that it was still ok for adults to go trick or treating… it was so much fun as kids! ;)
I like that picture. You look simply happy.
