Sad Days and an Apology
We’ve suffered a big loss in the family this week, our little Mop kitty got sick and died in a matter of hours. It’s left our family devastated, she was the runt of our only litter, we personally nursed her to health when her mother tried to do what nature does to the weakest, and we have enjoyed her complete adoration and love for 8 years as a result.
She was the sweetest, snuggliest baby kitty that ever was and this has left such a large hole in our world. Her sister from the same litter, Hope, who has never been without Mop in her life, is in my lap now and has been refusing to leave it, I think this might be hardest on her. It’s been a rough year on our little family unit, we lost their mother near the beginning of it. But the three of us still have each other and we are glad for that and healing together.
