I went to the state fair on Sunday!  I don’t get to go every year like I did when I was little growing up in Dallas.  My grandmother had a couple of free passes she wasn’t going to use so she sent me and the wizard to eat a corny dog in her stead.

As always, the food took center stage.  I have NEVER seen so many fried foods.  A few I saw:

fried bacon

fried pb&j

fried cheesecake

fried candy bars

fried cookie dough

fried BUTTER

fried latte(?!)

And here I am enjoying my turkey leg.  I waited 45 minutes in line for it, so my enthusiasm is real.

PS, thanks to the borrowed camera that accompanied me to the fair, you can find new pretties in my shop today!!!
